Copart Opens 100th Location in Fort Pierce, Florida
Copart, Inc. has opened its 100th U.S. auction facility, located in Fort Pierce, Florida. With the addition of this 54-acre greenfield facility Copart now has six locations in Florida."The new Ft. Pierce location is in the northern section of the city near the airport and Interstate 95," said Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer. "The new facility will allow us to better serve our suppliers in central eastern Florida. Previously this area was served by our West Palm Beach and Orlando facilities, which are over two hours away during commute hours."
Since August 2002, Copart has added six locations including two MAG sites in West Mifflin, PA and Richmond, VA and four Copart salvage sites in Reno, NV; Springfield, MO; Corpus Christi, TX and Ft. Pierce, FL. Copart currently operates 100 facilities in 40 states.
