ARA Announces 2002-2003 Executive Committee

New officers of the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA), which form the Association's Executive Committee, were announced during the ARA 59th Annual Convention and Exposition held in Salt Lake City, Utah in November. The following are the newly-elected officers:
  • President: Ken Horn, Action Truck & Van, Inc. Fresno, CA
  • First Vice President/Treasurer: Billy Roberts, Roberts Salvage, Inc., Moffett, OK
  • Secretary: Skip Weller, Weller Auto Parts, Inc., Grand Rapids, MI
  • Immediate Past President: Phil Sheppard, Calgary Pick Your Part, Calgary, AB.

The Executive Committee is charged with considering and acting upon issues brought by voting members of the association. ARA's officers are nominated and elected each year by ARA members during the annual meeting.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to lead ARA for 2002-2003" says Ken Horn. "The industry is always undergoing constant change and development, and I am looking forward to working with our members to lead ARA for the next year."

ARA is an international association for professional auto recyclers with member companies in 12 countries worldwide.
