Copart Opens Fifth Location in Southern California
Copart, Inc. has opened its fifth facility in Southern California in the community of Rancho Cucamonga. With the addition of this 39-acre greenfield location Copart now has 101 locations in 40 states."Nearly two years ago we began searching for an additional location in the Los Angeles area to handle our growth in the region," said Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer. "This new site gives us significant additional capacity and will allow us to better serve our suppliers in the Inland Empire. We now have five sites in Southern California including Los Angeles, Van Nuys, San Bernardino, San Diego and Rancho Cucamonga."
Since August 2002, Copart has added seven locations including two MAG sites in West Mifflin, PA and Richmond, VA and five Copart salvage sites in Reno, NV; Springfield, MO; Corpus Christi, TX; Ft. Pierce, FL and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Copart also announced that it recently relocated its corporate headquarters to Fairfield, California.
