PPG Names Barry McGee Head of Automotive OEM Glass
Barry J. McGee, vice president, flat glass, has been appointed vice president, automotive original equipment glass, for PPG Industries, effective March 1. McGee replaces Ernest A. Hahn, who is retiring the same day after more than 36 years with the company."Barry combines extensive experience with the demonstrated ability to create strategic direction and initiate change," said Charles E. Bunch, PPG president and chief operating officer. "His breadth of experience, including manufacturing, marketing and general management, combined with familiarity with the demands of the automotive industry will serve him well in this position."
No successor was immediately named for McGee's current position.
