CIECA's New Logo Contest Online

CIECA is now accepting applications for the "CIECA New Logo" contest, announced Dan Dutra, chair of the CIECA Marketing Committee

"CIECA has several new and exciting initiatives in the works and the new logo contest is just one of them", said Dutra. "Through its work in establishing electronic communication standards, CIECA contributes to the continued evolution of our industry and we felt it was time for CIECA's image to evolve as well."

It is believed that a new logo will help brand CIECA as the industry vehicle driving open communications between all trading partners and better reflect the current direction of CIECA. CIECA would like to see wider participation by our industry stakeholders in the support and development of the next generation of industry standards, including XML and web-services. "We felt that involving the industry in designing the new logo was just one small way to bring attention to the important work that CIECA is involved in.", says Dutra. CIECA is offering the opportunity to help design the new logo to anyone who works in the collision repair industry.

The grand prize winner will receive an all expense paid week for two in Orlando, including airfare, hotel, amusement park admissions, rental car, and admission to all NACE events later this year.

Since announcing the Logo contest at NACE in Dallas, CIECA has set up an online application form. Contest rules and other details can also be viewed there. Entry Deadline is April 15, 2003.

Five finalists will be announced at the CIECA / ACORD conference in Disneyworld May 19 and the Grand Prize winner will be announced at the CIC / ICAR meeting in Ft Lauderdale on July 23.
