CARSTAR Promotes Dan Bailey to Executive Vice President of Company Store Operations

CARSTAR, North America's largest collision repair network, has announced the promotion of Dan Bailey to Executive Vice President, Company Store Operations. Bailey is responsible for the operation of CARSTAR's 18 company-owned locations in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska as well as developing and implementing new systems and processes that are rolled out to company-owned and franchise locations.

"Dan is an excellent addition to our executive team," said George Hansen, Chief Executive Officer of CARSTAR. "In my various roles through the years, I have not found an individual more instinctive, creative and capable than Dan. Although he has been with CARSTAR almost five years, he continues to amaze us with his problem solving skills and his ability to provide results."

Since Bailey joined CARSTAR in 1998, he has been a General Manager at one of the company-owned stores, a District Manager over three company-owned stores and the Vice President of Company Store Operations over all company-owned stores. During his tenure as Vice President of Company Store Operations, CARSTAR has acquired 11 company-owned facilities and established one satellite location. Prior to joining CARSTAR, Bailey operated three collision repair shops in Kansas City with his brother, Bill Bailey, for over 20 years.

Bailey is also active in collision repair industry organizations. As current chairman of the Kansas City/Topeka Chapter of SCRS, he has directed fund-raising activities for Camp Mak-A-Dream as well as the sponsorship of a collision repair industry trade fair in Kansas City last October. He is also a member of the CIC Estimating Committee.

CARSTAR has more than 300 locations across the United States and Canada.
