DaimlerChrysler AG has launched a new service Web site to provide access to factory-authorized emissions and non-emissions diagnostic and repair information. The site provides information for some 1995 model year vehicles and all 1996 and newer vehicles. The information on this Web site is the same provided to franchised dealers.Current features on the Web site include:
- Service and Diagnostic Manuals
- Technical Service Bulletins
- Electrical Wiring Diagrams
- Recall Information
- Training Materials
- Diagnostic and Reprogramming Tool Purchase Instructions
The Web site can be accessed at www.techauthority.com. Other auto manufacturers offering service information via the Internet include BMW/Mini, Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp., Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Land Rover, Toyota, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo.
