Business Tools | Monday April 14 American Collision Network ExpandsAmerican Collision Network has expanded into the Midwest with the forming an operating agreement with a coalition of shops and Storm Appraisal Service. The coalition headed by Bob Smith will grow American Collision Network through out 14 Midwestern states.Located in Kansas City area the American Collision Network central region will operate in 14 states in the central area of the United States. The central region leadership is made up of 4 independently owned repair facilities, B&H Body Shop and Automotive, Buckner’s Complete Collision, Butler’s C&D Body Shop, Richard’s Auto Salon and Storm Appraisal Service. With this blend of repair facilities and independent physical damage organization ACN will be able to offer a suite of services unique to the structure of a network. Bob Smith, CEO of the central region said, “As a group ACN brings representation to the independently owned collision repair business which has not been available before. We will be able to handle the repair and claims needs of our customers, both insurance and private, as well as represent our members on both national and regional issues”. This is the first openly combined venture by two separate segments of the Collision Industry.” Ed Dahm stated, “We are happy to bring the Midwest region into the American Collision Network. The Midwest region brings an added benefit with Storm Appraisal Service. We have hopes this region will grow into a very strong group. We are starting with forward thinking shop owners with a willingness to excel. The midsize shop is being overlooked right now but these shops are the backbone of the Collision Industry, we need to help these shops stay competitive and an important part of our Industry.” The leadership of both regions is quite active in the Collision Industry, participating in the Collision Industry Conference, Society of Collision Repair Specialists, National Auto Body Council and ASA on both a local and national basis.
