NASTF Updates OE Service Information Matrix
The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has announced that the latest update of the NASTF OE Service Information Matrix went online April 28, 2003.This new update incorporates revisions since the January 2003 update. The most notable changes are related to new OE service Web sites launched over the past few months. With the assistance of the International Automotive Technicians Network, the NASTF established the OE Service Information Matrix which provides OE company contacts for obtaining service information, training materials, and tools.
This matrix is updated quarterly and can be accessed at the NASTF Web site, (then click on Service Information Matrix link). The next quarterly update will be in July 2003.
The matrix includes a complaint form if a technician identifies an error in the matrix or has a problem accessing the information being sought. The complaint form can be completed on-line at www.iatn.net/nastf/#complaint or faxed to NASTF. Complaints are forwarded to the specific OEM for review and resolution.
