ABRA Opens Duluth Franchise
ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, has announced the opening of a new franchise in Duluth, MN. This repair center, formerly Central Collision & Glass, is the twentieth franchise operating under the ABRA brand.Mike DeBoer, former general manager of ABRA-St. Louis Park, is the owner and operator of the Duluth repair center. "I was thinking of opening an independent center," stated DeBoer, "but realized ABRA offers so much to its franchisees. They have been perfecting their operating procedures for nineteen years, and have an excellent reputation with the insurance industry. I feel that these benefits, coupled with our great location and state-of-the-art equipment, will give us a solid base on which to build a thriving business."
"Mike was an excellent ABRA team member for the eleven years that he was the general manager of our St. Louis Park center," stated Rollie Benjamin, President and CEO of ABRA. "We are pleased that he has been able to fulfill his dream of owning his own business again while staying within the ABRA family."
Before managing ABRA-St. Louis Park, DeBoer graduated from Dunwoody Institute, was a painter at a car dealership for five years, and owned his own body shop for twelve years.
ABRA Auto Body & Glass operates 79 facilities in ten states.
