ADESA Houston Promotes Rick Mowrer to General Manager
ADESA Houston has announced that Rick Mowrer is its new general manager. ADESA Houston is one of 53 wholesale vehicle remarketing auctions owned by Indianapolis-based ADESA Corp., an ALLETE company.“Rick’s promotion signifies ADESA Houston’s commitment to showcasing in-house talent,” said Mark Willey, vice president of south-central operations for ADESA Corp. “His experiences within the remarketing industry demonstrate true leadership and I’m excited that he has accepted an opportunity to grow with the company.”
Mowrer joined ADESA Lexington in 1993 as a fleet/lease manager. Most recently, he served as the Assistant General Manager (AGM) for ADESA Houston.
In his new position, Mowrer will be charged with building and enhancing relationships with used vehicle dealers, fleet and lease accounts and overseeing the daily activities at the auction.
“I’m excited about the progress ADESA Houston has made in 2003 on the track to becoming a leading auction in the state of Texas,” said Mowrer. “As general manager for ADESA Houston, I hope to continue to build upon that success.”
Through its network of subsidiaries, ADESA operates 53 wholesale vehicle auctions and six heavy-duty commercial vehicle auctions strategically located across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
