Villella Represents CEI as first Vehicle Accident Management Provider in National Subrogation AssociationChris Villella, Loss Recovery Manager for The CEI Group, was recently appointed to the post of committeeperson for the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), the only nationwide subrogation professional’s association. CEI, a charter member of NASP, is the first accident management services provider to become a member of the association.
In his role, Villella will represent NASP through local member recruitment, meeting organization and topic selection. “CEI has been an active participant in the building and development of the NASP since its beginning,” said Wayne G. Smolda, chief executive officer of CEI. “With Chris’ extensive experience in subrogation we feel that his appointment will benefit both the association and the subrogation industry as a whole.”
“NASP provides an excellent opportunity for all subrogation professionals to better understand their areas of expertise and the challenges of the industry as a whole. Even with my 14 years of subrogation experience, NASP and the relationships I’ve developed since its inception have proved to be valuable resources in every aspect of my job responsibilities,” said Villella.
The National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), formed in 1998, is a non-profit trade association for the purpose of creating a national forum for education, training, networking and sharing of information for the most effective pursuit of subrogation. The current membership numbers over 1,400 and includes insurance company subrogation specialists, attorneys practicing in the field of insurance subrogation and vendors serving the subrogation needs of the insurance industry.
