Charlie's CARSTAR Named Franchisee Of The Year
Charlie Eilers from Charlie’s CARSTAR in Cahokia, Ill. received CARSTAR’s 2002 National Franchisee of the Year Award at the company’s annual conference held June 22 - 24 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, Michigan. Eilers was selected out of more than 200 U.S. CARSTAR franchise owners.“Charlie Eilers’ dedication and service to CARSTAR, his customers, and his community are commendable,” said George Hansen, Chief Executive Officer of CARSTAR. “He has taken a strong leadership position by serving as the Chairperson for the CARSTAR St. Louis area Business Group, which is comprised of 11 CARSTAR facilities. This Business Group recently co-sponsored junior high and high school assemblies to help communicate MADD’s message to the pre-teen and teenage audience in the Greater St. Louis area, and they’re a long-term sponsor of the Southwestern Illinois College’s Auto Collision Repair Technology (ACRT) program.”
The CARSTAR Franchisee of the Year Award honors the franchisee that has demonstrated outstanding support of the CARSTAR operational systems, overall dedication to the organization, continued support of fellow franchisees, and a strong commitment to the network’s reputation for quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
“I’m honored to receive this award on behalf of my entire team at Charlie’s CARSTAR,” Eilers said. “We strive to provide our customers with top quality repairs and unbeatable customer service, and we’re delighted to receive such high recognition for our efforts. Being a part of the CARSTAR franchise system is like being part of a large family. My CARSTAR associates in St. Louis, and all around the country, inspire our team to continually improve because what we do at Charlie’s CARSTAR affects the entire franchise system.”
Eilers has owned his collision repair business since 1980 and joined the CARSTAR franchise system in 1997. In addition to his chairperson responsibilities, he is involved with several committees within the St. Louis CARSTAR group designed to enhance the offering of all St. Louis area CARSTAR stores to both consumers and insurance partners. Charlie’s CARSTAR is also a member of The Chambers of Commerce in Cahokia and Columbia, Ill.
CARSTAR, founded in 1989, has more than 300 locations across the United States and Canada.
