CCC Information Services Inc. and App Software Associates Offer Interface for Independent Appraisers

The agreement creates an interface between App Software Associates' AppTrak appraisal management solution and CCC Pathways Independent Appraisal Solution. The interface allows independent appraisers to simply download assignment details and estimate information into their CCC Pathways system, once the assignment information has been transferred into the AppTrak system. This seamless transfer of information helps appraisers provide estimates quickly and efficiently while significantly reducing the risk of error due to manual re-entry.

"Until today, independent appraisers have had to double-key information received from insurers, depriving them of estimate-writing time and increasing the chance of human error," said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of product management and marketing for CCC. "Through the interface between CCC Pathways and AppTrak, transferring information is as simple as point and click."

"The ability to drop assignments directly into CCC Pathways from AppTrak, without having to manually re-key the information cuts down on the amount of time I spend doing administrative tasks and allows me to complete more estimates during the day," said Wayne Marsdan of Auto Damage Appraiser of Houston in Texas.

"AppTrak's central goal is to eliminate duplicate manual entry of information by enabling communication between it and different software applications," said Tom Brooks, product manager of App Software Associates. "The interface between CCC Pathways and AppTrak appraisal management solution will help improve the productivity of independent appraisal offices."

App Software Associate is a private business cooperative software company located in Rochester, New York. In 1985, AppTrak was developed as a management software solution for independent appraisal offices. AppTrak is endorsed by the Independent Automotive Damage Appraisers Association (IADA).
