Business Tools | Thursday July 31 AAIA Reports PBE Jobber Sales Increase During SpringFor the second year in a row, overall sales of paint and body equipment by jobbers increased during the spring months of April, May and June, according to Paint & Body Equipment Jobbers' Quarterly Data Reporting Panel: Q2 2003, just released by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA)."Consumers want their cars looking good for the summer months," said Dan Kaplan, AAIA's senior director of market research. "They are willing to spend more money in the spring to make sure their cars are in top shape." Eight products are tracked in Paint & Body Equipment Jobbers' Quarterly Data Reporting Panel: Q2 2003, including paint, abrasives and masking products. The report also tracks jobbers' sales expectations for the next 12 months.
