Microsoft & Everest Partners appointed to CIECA Board

Rick Palmer, CEO, ComputerLogic, Inc., and Chairman of the CIECA Board of Trustees has announced that the Everest Partners and Microsoft Corporation were appointed to the Board of Trustees.

The Everest Partners are independent, regional repairers committed to establishing new standards of excellence in cost efficiency, quality of repair and policyholder satisfaction. The partners lead the industry in providing enhanced services to their customers and the Insurance industry with call centers, auditing tools, advanced communications, training centers, and benchmarking.

Robert Turchan, CEO of Pride Auto Body, will represent the Everest Partners. The Everest Partners represents 48 body shops operating in Alabama, Arizona, California, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. Two of the Everest Partners have been CIECA members for several years.

“This marks their expanded commitment to and support of CIECA’s Mission,” said Fred Iantorno, CIECA’s Executive Director.

Microsoft Corporation represents a significant technology endorsement for CIECA. Josh Lee, Technical Strategy Director, Financial Services, will represent Microsoft Corporation on the Board. Mr. Lee has also accepted the Vice Chair position of CIECA’s Standards Advisory Board.

“Microsoft has been involved within CIECA since August 2002 as a member of the XML Study Group and by hosting the October XML meetings at its corporate headquarters in Redmond, WA,” added Fred Iantorno.

The appointment of the Everest Partners and Microsoft to the Board underscores CIECA’s commitment to the best in the industry: both repairers and technology.
