August 18DuPont Top Gun Winners Include Variety of Vehicles
A variety of vehicles, including two motorcycles and a heavy-duty truck, are among the winners in the 11th annual DuPont Top Gun contest.
The contest, which recognizes the best use of DuPont Automotive Finishes, as usual attracted stunning examples of the art of automotive painting. Hundreds of entries from the U. S., Canada and Mexico were judged by a panel of experts. The 12 Grand Prize winners will receive $1,000 worth of DuPont Finishes and year-long fame on the Top Gun Calendar. The vehicles also will be featured in the Fall edition of DuPont Refinisher News.
Twenty-four First Prize winners receive $500 in DuPont Finishes, and their names will be published on the 2004 Calendar and in Refinisher News.
The 12 Grand Prize vehicles will be displayed monthly on a rotating basis on the DuPont Performance Coatings Web site, and the 2004 Top Gun Calendar can be ordered through the Web site. Bulk orders can be imprinted with contact information for shops, jobbers, etc., free of charge. Individual calendars (without imprint) are $8.98.
