Kirmac Collision Services and Expedia, Inc. Win Prestigious Customer Service Awards

Kirmac Automotive Collision Systems Inc. has announced that its collision repair facility in Auburn Washington has won the “2003 Winner, Oregon & Western Washington Better Business Bureau/US Bank Customer Service Award” in the under 50-employee category by the Better Business Bureau of Oregon & Western Washington. The winner in the over 50-employee category was Expedia, Inc. of Bellevue Washington.

Customer service is the foundation on which Kirmac has built its collision repair business. The company invests in the most up to date repair equipment, hires the best people, provides ongoing training for all of its technical and customer service staff and it uses ‘state of the art’ computerized production scheduling and management systems. Most of the repair work carried out by Kirmac is auto insurance paid. Its insurance ‘partners’ know that their policyholders who are in need of collision repairs will be treated with exceptional service when they take their vehicle to one of Kirmac’s repair facilities.

“In an industry that sometimes gets bad press, it’s nice to see our management’s and employees’ commitment to excellence recognized and rewarded,” said Kirmac’s president, Ian McIntosh, “and we’re especially proud to have shared this honor with such a great company as Expedia, Inc.”

The award was based on nominations for companies that vary in size, industry and location. Their peers, customers, vendors or employees recognized each winning company as a company that stood out from the others. Winners were separated into a small and large business category, under or over 50 employees. The companies from each category were highlighted as a leader in a specific area – Customer Service, Community Involvement and Innovative Business Practices.

KIRMAC Automotive Collision Systems, Inc. is the parent company of KIRMAC Collision Services. KIRMAC has twelve locations in British Columbia and Washington.
