NACE2003 Update: International Issues and Trends Session Offers Global Trends and Insights on Saturday, December 6

The International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE2003), in Orlando, is offering a special panel presentation on “International Issues and Trends.” The event, open to NACE participants, will take place on Saturday, December 6, with Russ Verona, veteran NACE attendee and owner of East Rockford Collision Center in Illinois, serving as host to several interesting and informative sessions, each focusing on an international topic.

A few highlights:

  • Global Markets and Trends will give a veritable world tour, with international experts, including Chris Mann, publisher of the UK’s Body Shop Magazine and Michel Malik of Australia, presenting the state of the industry around the globe.
  • John Norris, Executive Director of Canada’s Ontario Collision Group and Ian Groat of South Africa, will discuss Recruiting, Training, and Certification.
  • Russell Thrall, Editor of ABRN, will discuss the U.S. Market; and Bill Lawrence, COO of Caliber Collision Centers, will talk about Insurer/Repairer Relationships.
  • Charlie Baker, Publisher of INSIGHT, will moderate a panel of vehicle manufacturer representatives, taking a look at Influences, Initiatives, and Standardization in the vehicle manufacturer/repairer relationship.

Verona remarked, “This packs so much valuable material into a few hours that I guarantee attendees will come away amazed.”
