Mitchell Unveils Enterprise Information System for Multi-location Body Shops

Mitchell International, a provider of information and workflow solutions to the automotive insurance claims industry, has certified generis(tm), a robust data warehouse application specifically designed by Karora / AutoHouse Technologies, for use with Mitchell ABS 7.

By leveraging generis, ABS 7 enables customers to access and consolidate information from across a multi-location shop network and receive real-time global reporting and analysis of key performance indicators.

"Today, knowledge is power for any business enterprise. Giving multi-shop operators the ability to gain immediate insights into vital business performance metrics is essential for their competitiveness," Marc Brungger, Vice President of Shop Sales, Mitchell International. "Generis for ABS 7 leverages the powerful functionality of Mitchell’s leading shop management system and extends it for the benefit of multi-location operators. Now, multi-shop operators can compile and analyze data from across their entire shop network and make better decisions regarding shifts in the market, profit and loss fluctuations and insurance direct repairs."

Generis for ABS 7 has undergone a rigorous three-month pilot program conducted by a leading collision consolidator in Canada. According to Mike Gilliland, President, AutoHouse Technologies, "As the pilot program demonstrates, the ability for shop operators to exchange information with other business applications used by a shop network operator is a unique capability that sets the generis for ABS 7 solution apart from the competition." Gilliland added, "Acting as the enterprise information platform for shop operators, generis for ABS 7 will streamline operations and assist customers to meet emerging market pressures, such as performance-based partnerships between repairers and insurers."
