Planet Salvage Changes Name to APU Solutions and Releases PartsNetwork 4.0
Planet Salvage, an automotive parts procurement and management solutions provider, will change its company name to APU Solutions. The name change reflects an expanded focus in the company’s overall business strategy as well as significant changes in the company’s solution offerings.Through new strategic partnerships, APU Solutions now offers the ability to procure aftermarket parts, in addition to recycled parts, and the ability to compare pricing and features of different types of parts, including original equipment parts, through their unique product, PartsNetwork.
Another key component to the release of PartsNetwork 4.0 is complete documentation and reporting for every part searched on every claim. Insurance carriers, repair centers and parts suppliers will all gain greater visibility to each claim through expanded auditing and reporting capabilities offered by APU Solutions PartsNetwork.
