Summit Merges with Dewing Group and Launches Training and Consulting Organization

Summit Software Solutions, Inc. has launched an independent training and consulting organization through a merger with The Dewing Group. This new organization will focus on helping collision repairers improve their businesses through its PPT Success System approach. The Summit Performance Group, which will be led by industry veteran Randy Dewing, will utilize its exclusive PPT Success System methodologies to improve productivity and efficiencies in a shop’s office, production floor, and other areas.

According to Frank Terlep, Summit’s CEO, “The Performance Group’s unique approach stems from the fact we are one of the few organizations in the collision industry to have over 50 years of combined experience, a complete set of specialized business performance improvement tools, and technology solutions that can deliver dramatic business improvements to a collision repair organization. The PPT Success System is based on a simple but extremely powerful premise; improve performance by coordinating people and leadership skills with sound business processes, that are supported and, in some cases driven by technology."

According to a Summit press release, taking a holistic and diagnostic approach to a collision repair business a Summit Performance Consultant, utilizing the PPT Success System, is able to identify key areas of the business that could see dramatic improvements through the integrated implementation of specific training, policies, procedures, business process, and technologies.

Summit’s Performance Group is now offering the following solutions:

  • Peak Performance Groups: Summit Peak Performance Groups are typically comprised of 12-16 shop owners from different markets from around North America. These shops meet three times a year to explore and develop new strategies and tactics, which typically are focused on improving profits and processes for the business while finding a better quality of life along the way. Members serve as consultants and mentors to one another offering solutions and ideas that can be used in their everyday business and personal lives.
