UnitedAuto Appoints Hill New Area Vice President
UnitedAuto Group, Inc. has announced the appointment of Russell R. Hill, Jr. as UnitedAuto Group's Area Vice President in northern California. Hill joins UnitedAuto after a career spanning 33 years in the car business with Audi and Volkswagen of America, where he served as national sales director for Audi of America, Inc.Hill will have primary responsibility to pursue, develop, integrate and oversee the northern California market area for UnitedAuto, reporting directly to George Brochick, UAG's Executive Vice President of Western Operations.
Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Roger Penske said, "Russ's broad-based automotive experience uniquely qualifies him to lead our business in northern California. We are delighted that Russ accepted the invitation to join our team after a distinguished career at a premier automotive manufacturer. His diverse background and leadership will be instrumental to our management team as we look to develop this important new market."
UnitedAuto operates 139 franchises in the United States and 98 franchises internationally, primarily in the United Kingdom.
