Akzo Nobel Opens 2 Coatings Plants in China
Dutch chemical group Akzo Nobel NV has opened two coatings plants in China, further expanding its presence in the country.One plant is located in Tianjin, 80 miles from Beijing, and the other in Jiashang, which is in the vicinity of Shanghai. The two facilities will employ around 300 people in total.
Both plants will focus on industrial finishes for the manufacture of wood, coil and specialty plastic coatings.
