Caliber Collision Centers Sponsors Charity Golf Tournament for Children's Miracle Network

Caliber Collision Centers, an operator of collision repair facilities in California and Texas, sponsored its first Annual North Texas Charity Golf Tournament held in Euless, Texas on June 17, 2004 to raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network.

Started in 1983, Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization with local groups across the country that raise funds for area children's hospitals. Each year these non-profit hospitals provide the finest care, research, and community outreach to help millions of children with diseases and injuries. Caliber's First Annual North Texas Charity Golf Tournament raised over $24,000 to benefit Children's Medical Center Dallas and Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth.

"We are thrilled that our first fundraising tournament was a success for the Children's Miracle Network and local pediatric hospitals," said Mark Sanders, Vice President for Caliber's Texas operations. "Cook Children's Medical Center and Children's Medical Center Dallas are critical resources in the North Texas area. With the work done by the Children's Miracle Network as well as other event sponsors, vendors, associates and volunteers, we are able to make a difference in the lives of many of the children in the community where we all do business."

"To raise over $24,000 at a first ever tournament is a tremendous accomplishment," said Rachel Garton, executive director of Children's Miracle Network in North Texas. "We appreciate all the hard work that went into planning and implementing this event. Companies like Caliber Collision Centers are what makes Children's Miracle Network successful - and most importantly, the proceeds will help support children who need advanced pediatric care in North Texas."

Founded in 1991, Caliber Collision Centers currently owns and operates 68 facilities in California and Texas, with annual revenues exceeding $200 million.
