Summit Software Launches Version 4.5 of CollisionRepairNet

Summit Software Solutions, Inc. has released version 4.5 of its CollisionRepairNet software application suite. This recent release adds hundreds of additional features and functions to Summit’s ASCENT, VantagePoint, and C.O.P.S. software applications while introducing RPM, an integrated, advanced scheduling, dispatching, and production module.

Summit President, Frank Terlep, stated, “The 200 plus new features and functions in version 4.5 of our CollisionRepairNet suite builds on our reputation for delivering leading edge, easy to use, and affordable technology solutions for collision repairers of any size and shape. While we have improved all aspects of our ASCENT, VantagePoint, and C.O.P.S. solutions we believe the RPM scheduling, dispatching, and production module will generate the most interest and have the biggest positive impact on those repairers prepared to implement it.”

Terlep continued, “Based on feedback from some early adopters and existing customers we believe RPM is the most advanced integrated scheduling, dispatching, and production management software ever designed for collision repairers.”

According to Summit the new RPM module incorporates technology and processes based on several scheduling and production management disciplines such as, MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning), Six Sigma, Theory of Constraint, and Lean Job Shop Manufacturing. The RPM module includes the following capabilities:

  • Automated Severity Based Repair Order Classification
  • Capacity Based Scheduling and Workload Management
  • Integrated Individual and Company-Wide Calendars
  • Recurring Appointment Management
  • Repair Order Department “Blueprinting”
  • Departmental Capacity Scheduling
  • Automated Quality Control Checklists
  • Technician Skill Leveling
  • Skill and Workload Based Dispatching
  • Automated Warnings and Communications.
