ADESA Names Geoff Parker to Fleet/Lease Manager and Jason Ferreri to Executive Director National Accounts

ADESA Dallas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADESA Corp. has named Geoff Parker to the position of Fleet/Lease Manager.

Parker began his remarketing career with Dent Demon in 2000 as a Regional Sales Manager, stationed at ADESA Dallas. After spending three years with Dent Demon, Parker joined ADESA Dallas in 2003 as the auction’s National Accounts Manager. In this position, Parker successfully managed the relationships between ADESA Dallas and American Honda Finance, BMW and Suzuki.

“I have enjoyed the opportunity to grow and learn from my experiences at ADESA Dallas,” Parker said. “During my tenure with the auction, I have gained strong sales experiences that I hope to transfer into a fleet/lease position.”

As Fleet/Lease Manager for ADESA Dallas, Parker will assume responsibilities for facilitating customer relationships and cultivating new business for the auction. He replaces Rance Rudy who was promoted to Assistant General Manager of ADESA Dallas in March 2004. Parker will report to Rudy.

“Geoff’s promotion signifies ADESA Dallas’s commitment to recognizing talent from within the auction,” Rudy said. “I am excited that he will grow his career with ADESA Dallas and I believe his customer service background will add value to the auction’s operations.”

ADESA Corp. also named Jason Ferreri to Executive Director National Accounts.

Ferreri began his remarketing career with Mercedes Benz Credit Corp. in 1997 as an auction representative. By 2000, Ferreri was promoted to Western Region Manager in Remarketing Operations for DaimlerChrysler Services. Before joining ADESA, Ferreri was employed by Chase Auto Finance as Vice President/National Auction Manager where he led a team that successfully remarketed 90,000 used vehicles annually through 30-plus auction locations in the United States.

“I am pleased to join a company that is growing,” Ferreri said. “The auction experiences I possess combined with the customer insight will be valuable as I take on a new opportunity with ADESA.”

As an Executive Director of National Accounts for ADESA, Ferreri will be charged with providing customer service to a selection of ADESA’s clients including American Honda Finance, Mitsubishi Motors America, Hyundai Motor America, Onyx Acceptance Corp., Drive Time Financial, Household Finance and Remarketing Solutions. He will report to Charles Tapp, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for ADESA.

“I’m excited to have Jason on ADESA’s National Sales team,” Tapp said. “Jason’s experiences as a customer and as an extended member of a vehicle auction’s staff will enable him to provide trusted business counsel to our customers who look to ADESA to remarket their vehicles.”

Headquartered in Carmel, Ind., ADESA Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ADESA, Inc. ADESA operates 53 used vehicle auctions and 28 salvage auctions strategically located across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
