Business Tools | Wednesday August 11 3M Announces Executive Appointments3M has announced the following executive changes:Dr. Chuck Reich, executive vice president, Health Care Business (36 years of service) and David Powell, senior vice president, Marketing (34 years of service) have announced their plans to retire from 3M. The following executive appointments are effective Oct. 1, 2004: Robert MacDonald, currently division vice president, Automotive Aftermarket Division, has been appointed senior vice president, Marketing and Sales, succeeding David Powell. Brad Sauer, currently executive vice president, Electro and Communications Business, has been appointed executive vice president, Health Care Business, succeeding Chuck Reich. Joe Harlan, currently president and chairman of the board, Sumitomo 3M Limited, has been appointed executive vice president, Electro and Communications Business. Additional executive appointments include: John Woodworth, currently division vice president, Electronic Solutions Division, has been appointed vice president, Asia Pacific. Paul Rosso, currently regional managing director, South and Southeast Asia/ANZ Region, is being recommended to the board of directors of Sumitomo 3M Limited for the position of president and chairman of the board, Sumitomo 3M Limited. Debra Rectenwald has been appointed regional managing director for the Southeast Asia Region.
