OEM New Product Technology Sessions Added to CARS Lineup

Seven OEM New Product Technology Sessions will be offered at the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) this year. The sessions will be provided Thursday, Nov. 4, by DaimlerChrysler Ford, Honda, General Motors, Isuzu, Toyota, and Volkswagen. These individual sessions will allow each manufacturer to provide attendees specific information on new systems or features being incorporated in today's automobiles.

An annual event sponsored by the Automotive Service Association (ASA), CARS will be held Nov. 4-6 at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

"We are excited to have this level of participation from automobile manufacturers," said Bill Haas, AAM, vice president, service repair markets. "The OEMs providing information on their vehicles' latest innovations will definitely give attendees a competitive advantage. These sessions are a perfect fit in the CARS tradition of offering courses on the cutting edge of technology."

CARS will also feature seven technical courses; three management courses; a legislative update by Bob Redding, ASA's Washington, D.C., representative; and a keynote presentation by John G. Miller, acclaimed author and organizational development speaker.

Registration for ASA's International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) includes credentials to CARS, to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), and to the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) shows, all being held during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas.
