Business Tools | Wednesday September 1 National Glass Association Endorses Be Car Care Aware CampaignThe National Glass Association (NGA) has announced its support of the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign and is taking steps to educate and involve its member owners and managers of automotive glass repair and replacement service businesses.The Be Car Care Aware campaign is a marketing and public relations consumer education campaign to increase the motorists’ awareness about vehicle care, maintenance and repair. The Car Care Council serves as the brand and information source for the campaign. “The NGA’s Coalition for Auto Glass Safety & Public Awareness is already working to build consumer understanding of the windshield’s role in personal safety and structural integrity of the vehicle. The NGA believes all of society benefits when consumers have the reliable, factual information they need to make informed decisions on when and how to replace damaged auto equipment, including windshields,” said Philip J. James, NGA President & CEO. “Such information can make a difference in the lives of our customers. The NGA is proud to endorse the Be Car Care Aware consumer education campaign and to participate in “National Car Care Month” in April."
