The programs are being held in conjunction with the AASP-MN Annual Convention, September 24-25, at the Holiday Inn West, St. Louis Park, MN.“Make That Delivery Count – Hot Shot or Not” will help attendees better manage their delivery function. Participants will learn what it costs to deliver their product and will discuss financial and productivity benchmarks, customer service issues, equipment usage (vehicles and communications) and driver staffing issues (including scheduling drivers and the dispatch function). The seminar will demonstrate how to use the delivery function as a competitive advantage, winning sales and growing profits in a very competitive marketplace. This program will be offered from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. “Minimizing Returns, Warranties and Labor Claims” will address how jobbers can effectively deal with being placed in the uncomfortable position of liaison between manufacturers/distributors and installers/consumers in solving warranty and return issues. The handling of warranties and labor claims will be emphasized, and attendees will learn what their primary causes are, what they can cost and how they can be reduced to improve profitability. This seminar will take place from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact AASP-MN at (612)623-1110 or (800)852-9071. ©2004 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
