Business Tools | Friday September 3 Assured Performance Network Pleased with Rebate Program Preliminary ResultsAssured Performance Network (APN), the co-op network for independent auto body repair centers across the nation, has announced preliminary results from the first four months of its Preferred Vendor Rebate Program. The program enables qualified collision repair businesses to gain rebates on products and services they use.The APN Preferred Vendor Rebate Program was launched in the spring of 2004, and introduced in May at the Assured Performance “Best Of” Conference. Already, according to APN, Member-Partners are seeing significant results from their initial small investment. Since it’s launch, participating Member-Partners of the co-op have earned rebates on average of over $1,500 in value with several between $20,000 and $30,000 in value. The results are based upon just a few participating vendors in the earliest stages of this program. Some shops have received nearly 600 percent return on investment (ROI) on their initial investment. “We take great pride in the early results of this program. This provides substantial credibility to our vision of assisting shops to leverage their collective power, giving a whole new meaning to what a co-op in the collision industry can really be,” said Scott Biggs, founder and CEO of APN. APN operates as an advocate for the independent collision repair businesses that can meet minimum standards of excellence. The qualifying shops become member-partners enabling them to work together, independently through the legal structure of a co-op. All profits from APN are distributed to the Member-Partner shops on a “percentage of patronage basis.” Kevin Caldwell, Director of Member Services added, “This is just the tip of the iceberg. How can any smart business ignore the significant financial benefits this program provides especially when there is even greater value to be gained through all of our other services like operational improvement, marketing, customer retention, education, and best practices. The rebates are just icing on the cake!” Assured Performance Network is a regionally focused, national co-op network currently owning over $750 million in annual sales collectively, and Member-Partners in 28 states.
