Assured Performance Network Introduces “Best Choice - Best Deal” Negotiation Program

Assured Performance Network (APN) has introduced a new service aimed at reshaping shop-vendor negotiations. The new program, to be launched in late October, called “Best Choice - Best Deal,” offers non-legal contract negotiation services for procurement of key product lines such as parts, equipment, paint, materials, and other critical business tools.

The APN negotiating service aims to match vendors with a qualified audience, and the shop with an informed expert and knowledge of what a fair deal should be. APN plans to leverage its co-op collective buying power. The service focuses on national contracts as well as local and regional deals particularly important to networking rural shops.

“This long overdue service can have an enormous positive impact. Most shops think they are getting all they can, but never realize how much they leave on the table or the poor long-term choices they can end up with,” said Scott Biggs, founder and CEO of APN. “We are matching the right vendors and products with best in class customers. We are not controlled by vendor deals or someone owning a piece of us, so the shop and the vendor have independent experts they can rely on to help them in this buyer-seller process.”

APN operates as an advocate and business development company for the independent collision repair businesses that can meet minimum standards of excellence. The qualifying shops become co-op members enabling them to work together, independently through a legal mechanism.

Kevin Caldwell, Director of Member Services, added, “This service alone could have easily made the difference of over a hundred thousand dollars to our family collision business had we had it available before. This is yet another way that Assured Performance Network is changing the balance of power back in favor of the qualified independent collision repair business – just as it should be. Independent shops are no longer alone.”

Assured Performance Network (APN) is a regionally focused, national co-op network currently owning over $750 million in annual sales collectively, and Member-Partners in 28 states.
