Business Tools | Wednesday September 8 CARCARE Collision Center Installs Summit Management System and "Supreme Service” ProgramIllinois-based consolidator CARCARE Collision Centers has completed its installation and integration of the Summit management and production system in all of its stores. Partners Bill Aescliman and Jim Missig made the decision to go with the Summit system almost a year ago.“Summit gives us the ability to view all facets of the repair process, in real time,” said Bill Aescliman, one of the owners of the company. “This system will provide us with the information we need to expand in this coming year” “We chose the Summit system, because of its versatility, amazing reporting capability, call center modules, and expansion contingencies,” Missig commented. “The summit system, works in harmony with our status tool, Auto Watch, automatically updating our customers via e-mail, in real time, with a photo of the vehicle in process. It is truly state of the art.” Implementation and training were orchestrated by Kevin Mehok, Director of Operations for the company. CARCARE has also announced the release of its “Supreme Service” cycle time based, premium repair program. The basis of the program is quick repair cycle time, typically consisting of only one day for many repair categories. In essence, customers are able to drop off their damaged vehicles for repairs on Monday, and pick up the completed vehicles the next day. The program is being utilized to enhance service capability and to control costs. In the Supreme Service process a damaged vehicle falls into one of several categories of repair based on pre-set criteria by which repair cycle time is determined. According to Mehok, “We can guarantee a repair cycle time on any size collision repair, including very large ones, and can guarantee cycle time on the majority of losses to be only one to two days. This reflects a tremendous cost savings in rental cars alone. The program is already drawing considerable interest from several major Insurance carriers, and is rapidly adding to our point of difference.” CARCARE Collision Centers, headquartered in Plainfield Illinois, operates five collision repair facilities in Will and Dupage counties of Illinois. ©2004 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
