ASA Media Advisory on Allstate v. Abbott Trial
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) is following the Allstate v. Abbott trial on Texas' new insurer-owned repair shop law. INSIGHT will be posting these when received.Arguments continued today (9/21) in U.S. District Court - Northern District of Texas; with District Judge Ed Kinkeade presiding.
Testimony was heard from the following witnesses:
- For the plaintiff:
- Bob Thompson, a founder of Sterling Collision Centers and currently the vice president of new store development and process
- A representative from Automotive Collision Consultants
The court is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow (9/22) and is expected to continue through Friday.
