COO Steps Down at Ohio Casualty Insurance

Jeffery Haniewich, the chief operating officer of Ohio Casualty Insurance Co.'s Commercial Lines Division, has stepped down to pursue other opportunities, the insurance company said. A search for a successor is under way.

Haniewich, 57, joined Fairfield-based Ohio Casualty in 1998. He became the division's chief operating officer in 2001.

Ohio Casualty had 2003 revenue of $1.67 billion.
