Business Tools | Wednesday November 3 Hot Hues Upgrades Consumer WebsiteHot Hues(TM) Custom Finishes recently launched its enhanced consumer website at www.hothues.dupont.com. Improvements include detailed information on Hot Hues products, a Hot Hues photo gallery, and the 2005 Hot Hues tradeshow schedule. In addition, the site now allows users to access key industry links, search for Hot Hues jobbers, and purchase Hot Hues apparel and merchandise on-line.The site, initially introduced several months ago, has received an award for creative achievement by International Web Page Awards. It targets audiences in the hot rod/street rod, truck and sport compact markets of the custom finishes segment by providing relevant and interesting industryrelated information. One of the new site features is the photo gallery, which displays vehicles custom finished with Hot Hues products, along with the names of the shops and painters who performed the work. “We feel the photo gallery is a way to promote exceptional vehicles that are painted with Hot Hues Custom finishes, and feature the talented artists and businesses that produce this work,” said Ron Skyrme, technical advisor for Hot Hues. An industry links section helps visitors obtain additional information on specialized vehicle segments or industry news. Site visitors can elect to be notified by e-mail when new information is added to the website. They can also send suggestions or comments. Shop operators interested in using Hot Hues products can search for an authorized distributor by state or zip code.
