ADP Claims Services Group Automates Tire Database, Frame Dimensions, Paintless Dent Repair, and Introduces Spanish in Shoplink

ADP Claims Services Group, a provider of integrated business solutions for the property and casualty, collision repair and automotive recycling industries, has announced the availability of Shoplink version 6.35.4, which automates paintless dent repair, tire and frame dimensions estimate entries and provides reports in Spanish for client estimates and technician work orders.

Shoplink now includes more of the tools necessary to write an accurate estimate faster, and aims to reduce the time and money spent accessing third-party sources of estimate-writing information.

"Tire Database, Frame Dimensions, and Paintless Dent Repair provide Shoplink customers with new, time-saving, user-configurable auto-fill capabilities that help repair facilities streamline their workflow and reduce mistakes and supplements," said Daphne Li, vice president of marketing for ADP Claims Services Group. "We are excited to reaffirm ADP's market leadership by introducing new Spanish language capabilities to the collision repair industry."

Collision repair facilities can improve customer satisfaction with Spanish-speaking clients by providing estimate printouts written in Spanish. It clarifies the operations and parts associated with each line item of the estimate.

In addition, Shoplink reports, including Work Orders, Parts Lists, and Gross Profit Reports are now all available in Spanish. This functionality makes Shoplink significantly easier to use for Spanish-speaking technicians.

The new module for Shoplink automatically populates prices for dent repair operations that do not require paint. Collision repair facilities can now do a one-time set up of a paintless dent repair (PDR) matrix for their own repair facility and each direct repair program (DRP). Shoplink then draws prices automatically from each matrix for all estimates. Shoplink's Paintless Dent Repair functionality eliminates the need to estimate paintless dent repair pricing in every estimate and establishes consistent damage assessments for this repair operation.

The ADP Tire Database allows users to search for tires in a geographical area by ZIP code, specify replacement locations and automatically add the information to the estimate. It streamlines shop operations by reducing the amount of time required to manually enter tire-related damages and reduces mistakes and subsequent supplements caused by incorrect entries for tire sizes and replacement locations.

ADP Tire Database also streamlines shop operations by including telephone numbers for replacement locations so users can easily contact the location, confirm availability, and arrange delivery.

Repair facilities can save time and money with ADP's new frame dimensions feature in Shoplink. Frame dimensions are mapped to the ADP vehicle database and can be viewed and printed directly from Shoplink. There is no longer a need to reference Frame books. ADP Shoplink guides the user and opens the frame dimension map associated with the vehicle make and model while writing the estimate.

The frame dimension maps are viewed and printed from Adobe Acrobat Reader, a standard computer application that is available on nearly all personal computers.
