APU Solutions Awarded Electronic Commerce Company of the Year and for Outstanding Leadership by CIECA
APU Solutions was once again the recipient of the award given by CIECA (Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association) for its outstanding leadership, contribution, and dedication to CIECA and the collision repair industry, and was also named the Electronic Commerce Company of the Year.Over the past year APU Solutions participated on the Architecture and Certification committees. APU Solutions contributed to the architecture committee by helping develop and recommend new technical methods and assisting with the consistent development of XML documentation.
“APU Solutions is very proud to work with CIECA and to be recognized for our contributions,” said Charles Lukens, APU Solutions’ President and Chief Operating Officer. “Like CIECA, APU Solutions is dedicated to helping the collision repair industry by developing new technologies and open standards. We will continue to work with CIECA to help make the industry more efficient.”
CIECA presented the award to APU Solutions at CIECA’s Night of Achievement event in Las Vegas.

In addition to being awarded the Electronic Commerce Company of the Year, CIECA also recognized Deathe Davis of APU Solutions with the Outstanding Leadership award. This award honors individual contributions of leadership that result in the achievement of CIECA’s mission, objectives, and goals.
“Deathe Davis developed a new web-based application that validates XML against CIECA standards – a significant achievement for the industry,” stated Jay Scruton, Director of Product Development at APU Solutions. “Deathe’s hard work and technical expertise earned him the respect of his peers on the CIECA committees and put the certification process ahead of schedule. We’re very proud of Deathe’s accomplishments.”
