Business Tools | Wednesday December 8 CARSTAR Announces PromotionsCARSTAR, North America's largest collision repair organization, has announced the promotions of three company executives and the successful results of this year's franchise expansion program.Daren Fristoe, most recently Senior Vice President, has been promoted to the position of Chief Administrative Officer for CARSTAR. Fristoe will continue to provide the company with corporate leadership, specifically focusing on the areas of human resources, training and education, franchise communication and services, corporate marketing and community initiatives. Fristoe joined the CARSTAR organization in May of 2002 after serving as Vice President of Human Resources at eScout, LLC. Bill Vance has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Marketing for CARSTAR, from his previous role as Assistant Vice President of Marketing. Vance joined CARSTAR in 2003. Since then, he has been instrumental in the development of cutting-edge marketing programs for both CARSTAR and also the collision repair industry as a whole. Vance previously was Vice President of Franchise Development for Mr. Goodcents, a Midwestern-based restaurant chain. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Marketing for RentWay, a nationwide chain of rental-purchase stores. Dan Young, previously Assistant Vice President of Insurance Relations, has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Insurance Relations for CARSTAR. Young joined CARSTAR in 2003. He was previously employed for nineteen years at Allstate Insurance Company, where he worked in a number of capacities throughout his career. In his expanded position with CARSTAR, Young will continue in his role of insurance program creation and management, relationship development, industry connectivity and expanding the CARSTAR brand awareness within the insurance community. "We're thrilled at the chance to promote these individuals and recognize them for their extraordinary efforts and successful results within their respective Departments," said CARSTAR Board Chairman Henry Frigon. "The strength of our management team is unparalled within the collision repair industry and we're proud to be the leaders and innovators of our category." Additionally, CARSTAR continues to expand its reach as a nationwide collision repair network. The company has signed 40 new franchise agreements year-to-date, including the first CARSTAR location located in the state of Alabama.
