Yumi Vaught To Manage Northwest for Assured Performance Network
Assured Performance Network (APN), the growing co-op network for independent collision repair businesses, has named Yumi Vaught its Northwest Regional Manager. The Northwest region is the first region to reach 100 Member-Partner collision businesses.Vaught brings over 17 years of collision industry experience to her position at Assured Performance Network. As Northwest Regional Manager, Vaught will help lead the charge in the four-state region of the northwest U.S.
Vaught and her family owned a collision business in Orange County California for 18 years. In 2004 they moved to Seattle and soon after made the decision to sell the business. Most recently, Vaught has fulfilled the full time duties as the Executive Director of the Washington Autobody Craftsman Association. Now, she will split her time and execute her responsibilities for both organizations.
Vaught commented, “This is an ideal situation for all concerned. The two organizations complement each other and both are focused on the well-being and betterment of the collision industry. As a former shop owner, I am intimately familiar with their needs and challenges. Assured Performance Network is the ideal business platform to support the continued success of the independent collision repair business -something I believe in passionately. Now, I can ensure that APN Member-Partners in the Northwest get the best services and support.”

Assured Performance Network is a regionally focused, national co-op network currently producing over $775 million in annual sales collectively, and has Member-Partners in 36 states, with a projection for membership of over 1,000 Member-Partners in 2005. Assured Performance Network was officially established as a shop owned co-op in 2004, and developed based on the products, services, information and history of the Business Development Group (BDG, est. 1996) and BodyShop Video (est. 1988). Independent Collision repair businesses must meet standards to qualify and be eligible to become co-op Member-Partners. Once qualified, they can take advantage of numerous benefits, including education through Assured Performance University, marketing services, SOP’s and process management systems, buying programs, customer retention and more.
