Business Tools | Monday January 17 ADESA Impact Hires Brad Walsh and Launches New Total Loss Title Procurement ServiceADESA Impact, the total loss management and salvage auction subsidiary of ADESA, Inc., has hired Brad Walsh as Director of Title Administrative Services. In his new role, Walsh will be responsible for Impact’s Settlement Package Express (SPE) program. His appointment coincides with the launch of SPE’s latest generation of automation software, providing even greater efficiency to its title procurement process for total loss auto claims.“We’re very pleased to have Brad join the Impact family and the timing couldn’t be better as we launch the improved SPE process,” said Impact President Cheryl Munce. “SPE is the only claims service that proactively handles the entire administrative process for a total loss auto claim, including full compliance with state salvage disclosure laws.” Munce said that the SPE program is currently averaging a 16-day turnaround for obtaining the necessary title documents nationally. That compares to an industry average in excess of 40 days, which represents the single longest component of a total loss claim for insurers. Munce and Walsh say they believe the new features in the SPE program will produce further reductions in title cycle time while ensuring compliance with the unique title disclosure requirements of each state. Brad Walsh brings 17 years of claims management experience in automotive claims services and product development. He has worked with leading insurance industry vendors including CCC Information Service and Marshall & Swift/Boeckh. ADESA Impact is the third largest salvage auction company in North America with 28 locations. ©2005 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
