Assured Performance Network Launches Parts Rebate Program

Assured Performance Network (APN), the co-op network for independently owned auto body repair centers, has launched its Parts Purchasing Program. Assured Performance Member-Partners currently earn rebates on national programs, such as rental cars and paint. Now, they have added the critical piece that helps to address approximately 40 percent of the shops’ total business.

Participating shops must qualify and comply with performance requirements to gain special discounts and rebates. The new program addresses OE, used and aftermarket parts, radiators, hard parts, accessories, etc. The Assured Performance Parts Purchasing Program offers qualified shops national, regional and local choices, thereby ensuring price, delivery, and service options. The Parts Purchasing Program will be introduced region-by-region starting with southern California in April of 2005.

Ronni Jones will be managing and directing the Assured Performance Parts Purchasing Program. Jones has most recently owned and operated a regional parts marketing company that represented nearly 100 dealerships in several states for the last 15 years.

Kevin Caldwell, General Manager of Assured Performance Network said, “Our approach is not about grinding vendors. It is about developing more efficient processes and leveraging our collective buying power to recover essential profit margins. Both sides are winners when you build on business practices that eliminate inefficiencies and build bulk buying.”

Assured Performance Network operates as an advocate for the independent collision repair businesses that can meet minimum standards of excellence. Qualifying shops become Member-Partners, enabling them to work together, independently, through the legal structure of a co-op. All profits from Assured Performance Network are distributed to the Member-Partner shops on a “percentage of patronage basis.”

Assured Performance Network currently has Member-Partners in 36 states, with a projection for membership of over 1,000 Member-Partners in 2005. Independent collision repair businesses must meet standards to qualify and be eligible to become co-op Member-Partners. Once qualified, they can take advantage of benefits, including education through Assured Performance University, marketing services, SOPs and process management systems, buying programs, and customer retention.
