Business Tools | Thursday March 31 Caliber Collision Centers Enters into Letter Of Intent to Acquire M2 AutomotiveCaliber Collision Centers has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire the business operations of M2 Automotive, Inc., with 27 collision repair facilities throughout California. The transaction is expected to be finalized within the next 45 days.According to Dan Pettigrew, President and Chief Executive Officer of Caliber Collision Centers, the acquisition of M2 Automotive will combine the forces of the two largest high quality collision repair providers in California for the benefit of consumers, employees and clients. “M2 shares our commitment to a performance based environment that benefits consumers by providing high quality repairs and exceptional customer service with the clear goal of being the collision repairer of choice,” said Pettigrew. “Additionally, M2’s store location footprint is complementary to Caliber’s and this acquisition provides our much-desired entries into the San Fernando Valley and Northern California markets.” Hunt Ramsbottom, founder and Chairman of the Board for M2 Automotive, will assist with the transition of the company to Caliber. “There are already tremendous synergies between our two companies,” Ramsbottom commented. “All of us at M2 are committed to working closely with the Caliber team to unite these strengths into a dynamic organization that will significantly enhance opportunities for our employees, consumers and clients.” The two management teams will work closely together to identify customer priorities and ensure continuity of staff and services. “The combination of Caliber and M2 will result in a stronger, more capable enterprise that is more responsive to our customers’ needs,” concluded Pettigrew.
