Business Tools | Wednesday May 11 QCSA and Metro Salvage Pool Announce MergerQCSA Auto Auctions and Metro Salvage Pool, Inc. have announced their agreement to combine the Metro Salvage Pool Des Moines facility into a major new salvage operation named QCSA-Metro. The ten-acre Des Moines Metropolitan operation expands QCSA’s presence to six Midwestern salvage facilities. QCSA-Metro will utilize QCSA’s proven operational process and introduce improved technology to the Iowa customer base. The terms of the merger include the retention of the staff and management of Metro Salvage Pool, Inc.“We are very fortunate to be teaming up with such an experienced group as Metro,” stated Jerry Sullivan, QCSA Executive VP. “This operation enables QCSA to solidify statewide coverage in Iowa, without the usual ramp-up time necessary to build an experienced staff or buyer base that you get from a new greenfield. Metro brings a wealth of knowledge to the operation.” Metro Salvage Pool, Inc. is a privately owned corporation headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. The company’s principals have been involved in salvage disposition for 30 years, and have established and operated independent salvage pools since 1992. QCSA Auto Auctions is a privately owned corporation headquartered in Eldridge, Iowa, with additional auction branches in Madison, Wisconsin, and Springfield, Harvey, and Aurora, Illinois.
