Court Denies MQVP’s Motion to Reconsider

On Wednesday, May 13, 2005, United States District Court Judge J. Leon Holmes entered an Opinion and Order denying the Motion filed by MQVP, Inc., formerly known as Global Validators, Inc. asking the Court to reconsider its March 16, 2005 Memorandum Opinion ruling in favor of Mid-State Aftermarket Body Parts, Inc. on all counts in this litigation over the MQVP service mark.

The most recent ruling by Judge Holmes means that Judge Holmes will not reverse or modify his previous ruling that Mid-State did not infringe MQVP’s MQVP service mark when Mid-State told its customers that it had MQVP parts available. You can view the Court’s Opinion and Order on Mid-State’s web site at www.midstateparts.com.
