Sherwin-Williams Named Official Paint and Automotive Finishes Sponsor of Cleveland Grand Prix

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes has announced its partnership with the Cleveland Grand Prix as the official paint and automotive finishes sponsor. The 24th annual Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland will be held June 24 – 26, at Cleveland’s Burke Lakefront Airport.

“For years, some of the biggest names in racing have trusted their car finishes to Sherwin-Williams,” said Blair LaCour, President and General Manager, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp. “It was only natural for us to expand that partnership by sponsoring one of the most exciting motorsports events – the Roar by the Shore.”

He added, “With our headquarters in Cleveland, and hundreds of employees who call this city home, we felt it was important to team up with such a tremendous event that benefits the entire greater Cleveland community. Our involvement will highlight the many customers we service throughout the central region as part of our A-Plus™ Network of Collision Repair Facilities.”

One of the most popular summertime events in Northeast Ohio, the Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland will feature more than 30 hours of entertainment over an exciting three-day period, including several major auto racing events. With a clear view of the wide-open airport road circuit from the grandstands, fans will see some of the world’s fastest drivers do battle in their 750-horsepower turbocharged Champ Car World Series racers.
