Tom Stryker Founds International Consulting Firm

Industry leader Tom Stryker has established Superior Consultants, an international automotive consulting firm which intends to provide a high level offering of automotive industry consulting services.

Stryker opened Superior Consultants following a successful career with MOTOR Information Systems where he was responsible for new business development. He has also owned and managed a collision repair shop, a tire and wheel store, an auto stereo store, and has worked in the insurance claims business. His experience and international network provides a solid foundation for Superior Consultants.

Superior Consultants offers international services, including:

  • Inter Industry Liaison between Market Segments
  • Network Develop/Management
  • Trade Association/Industry Forum Development
  • Education Programs
  • China and other International New Business Development
  • Distribution
  • Collision Shop Management
  • Training
  • Equipment Development
  • Aftermarket Parts Development.

In addition to his work with Superior Consultants, Stryker represents MOTOR Information Systems in the United States and international market places, including China where he is working with Motor China Magazine.

Stryker commented, “The automobile business opportunities are growing rapidly as disposable income increases and consumers buy cars. In China, the fast track, if possible, is to have a Chinese partner and government interaction. The Chinese people are hard working, educated and eager to learn.”

Stryker has also been named the official representative to the United States for CAMRTA, the China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Trade Association.

Stryker and Chuck Sulkala of the Sulkala Group will be representing Superior Consultants speaking about the China collision repair market to IBIS, International Bodyshop Industry Symposium, in Montreaux, Switzerland in June.

Stryker noted, “Doing business in China is not for the faint of heart; you must understand that the 'pot of gold' is at the end of the rainbow.”

Superior Consultants will utilize a consortium of automotive professionals including Chuck Sulkala, The Sulkala Group; Lou DiLisio, Automotive Industry Consulting; and Karen Fierst, KerenOr Consultants.
