Guttman Named Reynolds and Reynolds Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has announced that Robert S. Guttman will be joining the company as vice president, general counsel and secretary. He succeeds Doug Ventura, who was promoted to executive vice president, Reynolds International and Corporate Services, earlier this year.

Guttman joins Reynolds from CCC Information Services Inc. At CCC, Guttman served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary since 2000 and led a team responsible for all legal, compliance, regulatory and contract administration matters.

Prior to joining CCC, Guttman was associate general counsel for information technology and e-Commerce for Sears, Roebuck and Co. While there, he served as chief legal counsel to the Sears CIO and technology group, and Sears.com. He joined Sears in 1986 as litigation counsel.

"Robert has an astute understanding of the legal, compliance and regulatory environment, and other business factors critical to a services organization such as Reynolds," said Ventura. "He has demonstrated successful leadership across a broad range of legal disciplines and situations. We look forward to him joining the Reynolds team and gaining the benefit of his experience and legal expertise."

Guttman will become a member of the company's Executive Committee and will report to Ventura.

Reynolds and Reynolds is the leading provider of dealer management systems in the U.S. and Canada.
