Nominations Requested for 2005 Collision Business of the Year Awards

Nominations for the 2005 Collision Business of the Year awards are now being accepted. Since 1991, the Collision Business of the Year competition and awards program has been recognizing the best collision businesses throughout the United States. For the second straight year, Assured Performance Network will be the host for this industry competition with the awards to be presented Wednesday evening, November 2, 2005, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel during NACE week.

The awards are open to any and all independent collision repair businesses defined as those not part of a consolidator-owned organization or auto dealership. Independent franchisees and other independently owned collision repair business regardless of affiliation are eligible.

The Collision Business of the Year awards recognize four separate categories: Curb Appeal & Marketing; Process Management; Peak Performance; and Service Provider. The program awards exemplary performance exhibited by a shop according to the following criteria:

  • Curb Appeal & Marketing – The ideal candidate exhibits exemplary marketing and consumer-oriented programs combined with building interior and exterior presentation, elevating the overall image of the collision repair and auto care business and industry.
  • Process Management - The ideal candidate exhibits advanced systems, processes and organization that result in superior performance – offering consumers an exceptional experience, while setting new levels of performance and operational standards for collision repair and auto care businesses.
  • Peak Performance - The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional statistical performance in all measured categories, setting new levels of performance and operational standards for collision repair and auto care businesses.
  • Service Provider - The ideal candidate exhibits excellent customer retention and diversified service programs, exemplifying expanded revenue centers and customer offerings, illustrating a multi-dimensional business operation.

Any industry professional including vendors, manufacturers, employees and insurers are welcome to submit nominations for consideration by going online to http://www.assuredperformance.net. Look for the special nomination link provided. A blue-ribbon panel of past winners and experts review the nominations, gather additional qualifying information and submit finalists for industry-wide selection. Business profiles for each of the finalists will be available for review and consideration online. Collision repair and claims management professionals can then vote on the finalists of their choice.

The deadline for nominations is Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. (EST).
